I am definitely one with the book community in the sense that I prefer to read actual, physical books than e-books. It’s not that I hate e-books. I do read e-books but I like the sense of accomplishment that one gets from finishing a book. And the smell, my goodness, it’s wonderful. Also, my eyesight is really bad, and I get mini-seizures along my eyelid area if I stare at a computer so much, so I rest them by focusing my vision on something that doesn’t emit too much light. And when I study for exams, I prefer actual books because I like to highlight and annotate. However, e-book readers are handy and they take up lesser space in contrast to actual books. I don’t have a Kindle or an iPad (yet) because I don’t have enough money to buy one, but I am planning to purchase an e-reader soon so I can read books when I travel without the burden of extra baggage fees on planes. Also, e-readers are great for those books that you want to read but don’t necessarily feel the need to buy physical versions of.
